Terms of Service

Effective 26 July 2026

These terms govern use of Alaga, clinic management software for healthcare providers in the Philippines. By creating a workspace or using the service, the clinic agrees to them.

Who may use Alaga

Alaga is for licensed healthcare providers and their staff. Access is by invitation from a clinic owner. Accounts are personal — do not share sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if an account is compromised.

The clinic’s responsibilities

  • Ensuring it has the right to enter patient information into Alaga and that it meets its own obligations under the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  • The accuracy of clinical records, prescriptions, prices, and tax details it enters.
  • Compliance with BIR requirements for invoices and receipts. Alaga helps produce documents, but the clinic remains the taxpayer of record and is responsible for what it issues.
  • Managing who on its team has access, and removing people who leave.

Clinical responsibility

Alaga is a record-keeping and administrative tool. It does not practise medicine, and it does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. The AI assistant answers questions about a clinic’s own data and may make mistakes; it must not be relied on for clinical decisions. All clinical judgment remains with the licensed practitioner.

Your data

The clinic owns its data. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. A clinic may request an export or deletion of its data at any time, subject to statutory retention periods for medical records.

Acceptable use

Do not use Alaga to break the law, to send unsolicited marketing, to upload malicious code, to attempt to access another clinic’s workspace, or to interfere with the service’s operation.

Availability

We aim to keep Alaga available and to protect your data, but the service is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties. It may be interrupted for maintenance or by failures of providers we depend on. Clinics should keep their own means of operating if the service is temporarily unavailable.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Philippine law, Alaga is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

A clinic may stop using Alaga at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or non-payment, and will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export data where we can.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to clinic owners and the effective date above revised.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
